One of the top rated refs in Minnesota every year is in studio 2 and we talk about all sort of fun topics and go over rule changes and points of emphasis for the year and ask him some hard questions
We touch on a number of high school and college wrestling topics and then hear from some with first hand knowledge of the “transfer portal…” Super 32, top 5 teams in Minnesota regardless of class and more!
In our first high school get together in a while we talk about the Minnesota kids at Who’s #1 and Super 32 to start the folkstyle season. We also talk about Hammer Camp and have an exclusive interview with Hammer Camp founder Mike Mattin to discuss what some kids do to prepare for these tournaments!
We have our first college head coach in studio for an episode, Max Mejia is in studio and talks about his path from Arizona to Minnesota via Harvard and what his expectations are for the inaugural year of women’s wrestling at Augsburg. He also announces the latest schedule addition what was just finalized this morning and has not been published elsewhere!
Our very first in studio athlete guest was a world champ! Also in studio one of the most important and hardest working figures behind girls and womens wrestling in Minnesota at all ages.
Congratulations, we are looking forward to more commits and news from @AuggieWrestle @AugsburgAuggies !!!
We have special guest Mack Reiter in studio 2 and have a marathon super show about the D1 NCAA Tournament preview! In part 1 we cover the first half of the weight classes, throw out a bunch of fun facts and matches to watch and while we of course focus on kids with a Minnesota connection we go all over the board. It’s still family friendly but since it’s college focused we might be a little more loose with the commentary, part 2 with the second half of the weight classes will be coming tomorrow.
We talk about some Minnesota connection results for DII and DIII nationals results as well as talk about an upcoming state tournament with some surprise Al and Josh info related to it!
We talk just a little about Big 10s here in Minnesota and mention an awesome article about it from a non-wrestling attendee:
